Daniel D?ianu is an excellent economist with in depth knowledge in the areas of focus in this financial and economic crisis. He was instrumental in preparing a one day symposium on the global financial crisis that we held more than a year before Lehman Brothers collapsed ? as the first in the European Parliament. In addition, he is the author of a report on the future regulatory and supervisory system in the EU ? a topic that will play an important role in the period to come.
