Thank you for purchasing the Bandridge KVM switch.
Hardware Installation:
 
Please turn off all peripherals and computers before installation.
 
1)     Connect the Keyboard, VGA Monitor, and Mouse to the console ports on the KVM switch.
2)     Connect the Keyboard, VGA, and Mouse Cables to the computer ports on the KVM switch.
3)     This KVM Switch product is ready to use after the computers complete the boot-up process.
 
Note: Please do not run Hot Key commands while your computer is booting up.
 
Hot key keyboard command.
 
To send commands to the KVM Switch, press the Scroll Lock key twice within two seconds. You will hear a beep confirming your command.
 
The following are the different commands:

Troubleshooting:
 
Make sure that all the cables are labeled. Label each and every cable with the number for each respective computer to avoid confusion.
1)     Do not press any keys on the keyboard while the selected computer is booting up. This might cause a keyboard error , where the PC cannot detect the keyboard.
2)     If the computer boots-up successfully, but the keyboard does not work, then:
·        Make sure the keyboard works when its directly plugged into the computer.
·        Try another keyboard, use 101, 102, 104 keyboards only
3)     If the PC does not detect the Mouse while booting up,
·        Make sure the mouse works when its directly plugged into the computer.
·        Make sure it’s a PS/2 mouse
·        Try a different mouse
 
        5)  Avoid moving the mouse or pressing the buttons on the mouse when switching ports.
