This parka and trouser made with GORE-TEX® fabric provides exceptional comfort and protection with a
lighter-weight, less bulky construction. This multi-purpose garment is designed for use in even
the harshest conditions. Features include n-IR signature reduction technology, which is durable for the life of the fabric.

The APECS is constructed with a proprietary GORE-TEX® fabric that’s 40 percent quieter and softer than previous ECWCS fabrics. It’s engineered to remain durably waterproof, windproof and breathable even after
exposure to jet fuel, gasoline, hydraulic fluid, DEET and other contaminants.
Increased breathability provides comfort across a broader temperature range. The wearer stays drier longer
and in higher levels of activity. Only routine machine washing and drying is required to maintain performance and extend the life of the garment. For more than 30 years, W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. has
developed high-performance fabrics that withstand the harsh environments military, law enforcement, fire,
and rescue professionals encounter on their missions.
