A Team Sergeant's Handbook

8,Being a Team Sergeant is the most rewarding and challenging position in the Regiment. According to Special Forces legend and Medal of Honor recipient Robert Howard, teamwork is the most important aspect of any small unit. Creating and maintaining the can-do, positive, mission-focused atmosphere of teamwork is a challenge. To do the very best job he can, a Team Sergeant has to understand he's the cog of the wheel, the grease of the skid, the gasket of the engine; whatever analogy you choose. Such analogies underscore the fact that it's the Team Sergeant who is to hold the Team together, managing its work, and focusing its efforts. This is the single best publication written on what it means to be a Team Sergeant. This book will help the leader navigate his time in the seat by helping him prepare for the overwhelming amount of responsibility that comes with the position.
