Presently, she is head of the Department of Fine Arts and in charge of prestigious Museum & Art Gallery, Punjabi University, Patiala. Her Doctorate thesis is done on An Analytical Study of Sikh Calendar Art. She has been a recipient of Le Corbusier Scholarship in Drawing and Painting by Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi. Scores of other awards and prizes. She has written 65 research papers on art and her articles have been published in books as chapters.
