Deader's Day

Follow Anika Hart as she starts a revolution. The world became unrecognisable in 2056 when a government known as The Protectorate came to power in response to a mysterious illness that infected the population over forty. To combat the spread, America was separated into carefully controlled regions where every adult is accounted for, and a fortieth birthday signifies death. Anika's parents were seized several years ago, and she has lived alone ever since.
