Delphine 1930s Showgirl

Information From the art work of Australian Artist Maxine Gadd Chart Design Mystic Stitch Title Delphine Hi I have just completed this cross stitch it has 88 colours and consists of just over 87000 stitches it has taken me 2 years to complete the picture. I brought the chart in 2004 along with Aurelia and imagined them as a pair please see Aurelia for detail explanation i started stitch her in 2019 and completed in 2021. She has been framed professionally and with non-reflective glass. The picture has been hand mounted by myself and there has been no glue used. I believe that the chart has been updated and is now only available from Maxine’s website called Maxinesimaginarium. I have tried to be fair on the price but this truly is a family heirloom and for someone very special in your life the pictures do not really do the work justice. I think that the number of skeins I had to buy was around 100 I will probably never stitch this again. The size of the picture without the frame is 44cm x 61cm the size with the frame is 57cm x 74cm So take into account the time the detail and the cost to me for framing, silks, fabric 14c adia,needles etc. this is how I worked out the cost 5.50 euro an hour 7 hours a day 38.50 is 2.960 a week is 10.78 a month x 24 months is 25.872 Euros.
