A Word from the AuthorWhen I read the Bible, I am always struck by the people God used to carry His message to the world-people who were inadequate in so many ways. There was Moses, who was slow of speech, picked to lead the entire nation of Israel out of bondage and into the Promised Land. Then there was David, the shepherd boy, who was the only one who would stand up to Goliath. How about the entire group of Apostles, ordinary folk, who brought the gospel message to the world at great peril to themselves? The list of ordinary people doing extraordinary things by the power of the Holy Spirit goes on today. God can use those who are weak because it means they rely on Him for the strength and wisdom to accomplish anything. If you think you're among the weak, God can use you once you decide to listen to Him and begin to do things His Way-that is the central message of this book.If you think God doesn't know who you are, think again. You may be just a grain of sand on a long beach, but the God of the Universe knows who you are and where you are and has given you a purpose in life.
