Sapphire a fost primul producator de placi grafice care a utilizat tehnologia Vapor Chamber folosita la inceput pe Radeon HD 3870 si Radeon HD 4870 in anul 2007, urmand apoi pe Radeon HD 4890 Atomic Edition - prima placa grafica de pe piata ce oferea o viteza a procesorului grafic de 1GHz la momentul respectiv.
