Aptus Reconvalescent Cat paste provding cats with energy in form of fat and 3 essential amino acids in the period of anorexia and starvation.

Cat's metabolism is not able to convert amino acids to taurine or arginine and their deficit can lead to clinical symptoms. Aptus Reconvalescent Cat paste prevent cats from lack of vitamins that are produced in gut and liver of healthy animals. Anorexic cats are deficient in these vitamins and it is dangeruos for them.

The product is suitable both for cachectic patients and for patients with normal body weight that not receiving food for various reasons (cats after the accident, after surgery, cats with the risk of developing liver lipidosis, cats with heart insufficiency, etc.).

Composition of this nutritional supplement protects the body from exhaustion, prevents rapid weight loss. The product  should be added to conventional therapy for cats with pre-existing liver lipidosis or dilatation. Aptus Reconvalescent Cat paste is also suitable and beneficial for its content of tasty animal fat that is the source of energy. Apart from animal fat Aptus Reconvalescent Cat also contains unsaturated fatty acids that have excellent anti-inflammatory effects, prevents from development of anemia and deterioration of the skin and hair function.

Dosage:

1 tube with content of 30 g per 4 kg of body weight daily

1 tube with content of 60 g per 8 kg of body weight daily, (7,5 ml/kg body weight).

• if needed use for 7 days

• for long-term use give half doses and consult your vet

• cats fed only with plant food Aptus Reconvalescent Cat paste does not cover the total amino acid requirement

Not suitable for:

• animals younger than 4 months, pregnant or lactating cats

 In the following cases always consult a veterinarian:

• cats with renal (kidney) failure and pancreatitis

• struvite urolithiasis (urinary stones)
