Sensory Systems for Robotic Applications

Sensory systems comprising of various sensing modalities are fundamental to robotics. They provide information about the state of the environment and of the robotic systems, which forms the basis for control, decision-making, and interaction. Thanks to advances in sensing and computer vision technologies, robots have come a long way and can be found today in healthcare, medicine and the industry.
