The Promise of Shabbat:: Yoga Poses for Happy Kids

The practice of Yoga has much in common with Judaism, including the beliefs for living a happy life as well as the values that help get us there. The link between the two can strengthen and fortify our separate practice of each and, ultimately, our quality of life. In The Promise of Shabbat, children of all ages practice yoga poses and remember aspects of Shabbat to help them find the light in situations perceived as negative. When yoga poses are practiced, children not only discover greater peace and happiness, but a natural connection to the meaning and importance of Shabbat.
