DESCRIPTION

The SLE Newborn 250 Infant Ventilator is a compact device with the versatility to perform most clinical methods of positive pressure ventilatory support of the newborn and some pediatric patients. The SLE Newborn 250 provides the clinician with :

-          CPAP, CMV, PEEP, IMV or Inspiratory Plateau capability

-          Calibrated selection of I:E Ration from 4:1 - 1:10

-          Ability to operate/set ventil ventilator up on either (i) I:E Ratio or (ii) Inspiration/Epiration Times, independently of Breath Rate setting, if incompatable Rate and I:E/Time settings are made, the SLE Newborn 250 will adjust and inform operator of adjustment by showing an E in displays. (E=Error).

-          Continuous display of Proximal Airway Pressure (Manometer)

-          Continuous digital display of Respiratory Rate from 1-125 BPM and 126-250 with key set modes

-          Electronic Display of PEAK/MEAN/LOW pressure as selected

APPLICATION

The SLE Newborn 250 Infant Ventilator is a continuous flow, time-cycled pressure limited controller. It is pneumatically powered and microprocessor controlled. The ventilator provides continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), controlled mechanical ventilation (MV). During CMV and IMV modes of operation, positive and expiratory pressure may be selected.
